After a year of being house-bound, most Brits have spent more time at Tesco than dining al fresco. And after all this time, they have forgotten how to holiday. How do you apply sun lotion? What’s the proper dining etiquette? But in our hour of need, Visit Jersey asked us to create an educational content series to remind Britain how to holiday again.

It’s certainly been a while since Britons have been on holiday, and they are nostalgic for happier times and fond childhood memories. What better way to tap into that nostalgia than with the exuberant and larger-than-life holiday reps they remember from summer holiday camps and the popular ‘Hi de Hi’ TV show.

THE SOLUTION
We created a humorous mock-educational content series presented by four-holiday reps to teach Britons how to holiday again (properly)! Directed by fictional documentary filmmaker Joe King, we interviewed four tourism ambassadors we called the Jersey Holiday Reps, each representing a different type of visitor experience in Jersey.
